Ignition System Services

Are you having trouble getting your car started in the morning? Even when it's not that cold? Then you may have a problem with your ignition system.

A vehicle's engine generates air and gas resulting in energy for the wheels. A spark is ignited through the combination of air and petrol, otherwise known as the ignition. This ignition runs through a collective effort from the ignition coil, distributor, distributor cap, rotor, plug wires and spark plugs.

Mechanics 2 U will check a number of things to ascertain the underlying cause. This might include the coil, distributor cap, coil wire, electrical connection, fuel pump and fuel filter. Once we have checked all the major compartments, we look for loose starter bolts, bad injectors, faulty cold start valves, chipped ring gear or inconsistencies with the engine's main computer.
We offer ignition system services with the following benefits;

  • Peace of Mind: While some may be wary of mechanics coming to their home, when you call us you know that a member of the Repco Authorised Service Centre will be coming to you. You can expect only the top mechanics.
  • Great Value: Not only do you not need to rent a car or have your vehicle towed to our shop, but with access to the spare parts network from Repco we can find the right part within your budget.
